The 30th Annual Shady Cove Wildflower Show will be held on April 30th and May 1st from 10:00-2:00 at the Shady Cove Middle School Gym.  Proceeds from the Wildflower Show every year help support our local Fire Dept with purchases of medical equipment.

Shady Cove City Wide Yard Sale-May 20th & 21st
Gather up all your prized possession, put up some signs and make some moola for Summer Fun!  Sales will be going on throughout Shady Cove, so get up early to get the best deal.  Look for signs, or check the paper for locations.

Shady Cove City Wide Cleanup-May 27th and 28th at the Shady Cove Fire Dept.-Oops!  So you thought that all your Yard Sale items were going to sell and didn't.  Don't worry, you can get rid of what didn't sell without having to go to the dump.  This is a free service provided by the City of Shady Cove and Shady Cove Fire Dept.  Dumpsters will be lines up on the asphalt both days.  If you would like to volunteer call the City Hall at:  541-878-2225

Prospect 2nd Annual Mill Creek Memorial Festival-May 28th-This is a fundraiser for our local vets.  There is a parade, FREE live music, FREE kids play area, craft booths, vendors and a Flag Retirement Ceremony.  All proceeds go to a fund for emergency medical treatment for our local vets.  For more information visit:  www.prospecthotel.com

Eagle Point National Cemetery-Memorial Day, May 30th at 11:00
Commentary Memorial Day Services are held each year at the beautiful Eagle Point National Cemetery.  Situated on a hillside overlooking the Rogue Valley.  Thousands of American Flags wave from the grave sites.  Several hundred locals and visitors join the service to pay tribute to our Armed Forces and fallen service personnel.  A fly-over and 21 Gun Salute are part of the traditional ceremony.  Located at 2763 Riley Road.  For more information, please call:  541-826-2511
